Automotive Aftermarket Association of the Mid-South dba NYSAAA

AAAMS dba NYSAAA is the automotive wholesaler association for North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and New York.  Residents of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and New York, who meet the additional qualifications below, and submit a complete application, will be considered by the AAAMS Education Foundation for this scholarship:

AAAMS Scholarship Program

The Automotive Aftermarket Association Of The Mid-South Scholarship Program dba NYSAAA assists students wishing to continue their education beyond the secondary level.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the following must be in place:

  • Applicants must be nominated by an AAAMS member in good standing;
  • A high school graduate or possess a GED certificate;
  • AAAMS owner-members themselves are not eligible to receive a scholarship, but their children are eligible, as are their employees and their children. Also, members of the immediate family of a Trustee of this Fund are not eligible.
  • Be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student in a curriculum leading to a degree or certificate in an accredited college, university or technical institute in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, New York or an Automotive Service Excellence / National Automotive Technician Education Foundation (ASE/NATEF) accredited automotive technical program;
  • Three letters of recommendation are required.  Only one may be from a church or minister.  It is suggested that one be from the AAAMS member sponsoring the applicant.
